Some pages on the social networking site “Facebook” have shown pictures of a new bridge “Sadat” in the Montazah neighborhood in Alexandria governorate, which is the location of Beau Rivage Beach in Miami, which angered many social media pioneers, and they see that it is on the beaches.
In the first government comment on this, Major General Mahmoud Nassar, head of the Central Agency for Reconstruction and supervising the implementation of the Sadat Bridge, said that the Faculty of Engineering at Alexandria University had conducted the study of implementing the project, stressing that there was no fault in it.
He added, in a special statement to “Masrawy”, that if there was any problem with the project, he would not receive approval.
He pointed out that it will create a state of traffic liquidity in that area, and eliminate congestion once and for all, explaining that the project is a bridge, a tunnel and a pedestrian bridge, and it is scheduled to open following regarding a month and a half.
