The French rugby sevens team qualified for the quarter-finals in Vancouver

After two group matches, the French team is qualified for the quarter-finals of the Vancouver stage of the Sevens Series. On Saturday, Les Bleues first defeated Spain (33-14), on tries from Joanna Grisez (two), Carla Neisen, Jade Ulutule and Chloé Jacquet. They then dominated Japan (40-7), thanks to goals from Caroline Drouin, once more Jacquet and Ulutule, Lili Dezou (two tries) and Séraphine Okemba.

The French still have a group match to play once morest Australia. The quarter-finals will take place on the night of Saturday to Sunday (French time).
