The famous leaker Evan Blass, as usual, has just lifted the veil on official images of the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55, which should be the successors to the Galaxy A34 and the Galaxy A54, respectively. Both devices are expected in March.
The renders reveal the front and back of the phones, along with four color options: Black, Green, Pink and White. The smartphones unsurprisingly inherit the design of their predecessors, with a “Key Island” style that makes the power and volume buttons more prominent. Note, however, that the Galaxy A35 now has a cutout for the camerainstead of the U-shaped notch of the Galaxy A34.
What do we know regarding the Galaxy A35 and A55?
The Galaxy A55 might have an aluminum chassis, which would be an improvement over the plastic chassis of the Galaxy A54. However, it might also be a plastic frame with a metallic finish. For its part, the Galaxy A35 will probably have a plastic frame, like the Galaxy A34.

Unfortunately, both phones still have visible edges and a large bottom chin, which makes the smartphones much less pretty than other devices from China. Other affordable and mid-range phones, such as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13, Honor Magic6 Lite, and OnePlus Nord 3 5G, already offer much thinner bezels.
The Galaxy A55 would also be larger than the Galaxy A54, which might make it more premium. One of the renders shared by Evan Blass also shows water splashing on the phones, which might indicate that they have the same water and dust resistance rating.by IP67 as the Galaxy A54 and the Galaxy A34.
Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 expected to have 6.5-inch and 6.6-inch AMOLED displaysrespectively, with a FHD+ definition and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The Galaxy A55 is also said to feature a new Exynos 1480 chip, which performed better on Geekbench than the Exynos 1380 chip in the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A35. Both phones would also have up to 12 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of storage, of the 5,000 mAh batteries and an 25W fast charging. They are also likely to work with Samsung’s One UI 6, based on Android 14.
