The Garden of Divine Songs: Charity Concert for Ukraine’s Flood Victims

2023-06-21 11:30:00

The Garden of divine songs returns, Wednesday, June 21 in the church of Saint-François-de-Paule, for a solidarity concert. After the success of the one given in mid-February – thanks to which the pediatric hospital of Lviv, in Ukraine, was able to buy ten inverters for a total amount of 3,500 euros – the quartet of the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra (Diana Mykhalevych and Mitch Huang, on violin, Ruggero Mastrolorenzi, on viola, and Alexandre Fougeroux, on cello) will once once more accompany soprano Elena Kuzheleva for a charity evening to the rhythm “of the most beautiful airs and romances of flowers and love”.

Organized by the Classical Heritage Association, this concert will make it possible to send, this time, part of the profits to associations which, still in Ukraine, work in the Kherson region to help the population affected by the strong floods due to the destruction of the Kakhovka dam.
