Ibiza, Jun 28 (EFE) .- The German shipping company FRS began this Monday to operate the route between Ibiza and Formentera with the fast ferry “San Gwann”, with capacity for 427 people.
FRS offers four daily connections from Monday to Sunday, which run from 8.30 a.m. to 8 p.m. departing from the port of Ibiza and from 9.30 a.m. to 10.30 p.m. from La Savina, the company said in a statement.
The general director of the shipping company, Ronny Moriana, has highlighted his satisfaction after entering the Balearic Islands on May 26 with the launch of the Alcúdia-Ciutadella route.
Moriana has indicated that FRS is a “real alternative” in the Balearic Islands, which has helped “boost maritime transport” with the two new routes. “We came to stay,” says the CEO.
