The two Raiffeisen banks in the canton of Neuchâtel are pleased with the progress of their business. They announced it Thursday morning in a press release. Despite an economic context which they describe as “turbulent”, they end the first half of 2022 with a profit of 1.08 million francs, which represents an increase of 0.9% compared to the previous year. Their balance sheet total increased by 95.5 million francs, an increase of +3.3%, which allows them to reach 3 billion francs.
For those responsible for the banking establishment, this is an “important milestone”. Overall, they are counting on a still solid business performance for the second half of this year. /comm-jhi
