The opposition parties have been considering a possible new parliamentary investigative committee for months. So far, the SPÖ, FPÖ and Neos have not been able to agree on any topic. It is an open secret that time is running out for a new U-Committee: If you want to conduct thorough surveys on an issue before the upcoming National Council elections in 2024, a decision will probably be needed in the fall.
