SSG Implements Safety Measures for Cold Weather at Baseball Games

Incheon, South Korea — SSG Landers has announced a comprehensive set of safety measures to protect visitors and players from the cold during baseball games. The initiative, which started during the home game at the SSG Landers Field on the 8th, aims to ensure the health and safety of everyone attending the matches.

Expanded Rest Spaces and Emergency Supplies

In addition to the existing medical office, SSG has converted several spaces into rest areas, including the event waiting room, interview room, youth club indoor space, and outfield facility management space. These areas are equipped with emergency response items such as folding wheelchairs, floor mats, glucose, ice, and bottled water to address any health issues promptly.

Strengthened Management of Children’s Space

SSG has also enhanced the management of children’s spaces, providing parasols and ice boxes to ensure immediate first aid for any symptoms. The management has strict guidelines for temperature thresholds, stopping outfield play if the temperature exceeds 30 degrees Celsius.

Safety Prevention Awareness Campaign

To keep the crowd informed, SSG transmits safety prevention images and videos on display boards, emphasizing the importance of sufficient water intake, rest guidance, and the location of the medical room. This proactive approach ensures that visitors are well-prepared to handle cold weather conditions.

Ensuring Safety for Outsourcing Companies

SSG has ensured that all outsourcing companies are thoroughly vetted and their expenses are guaranteed during work. Any employee exhibiting abnormal symptoms will be immediately excluded from work to prevent safety accidents, demonstrating the organization’s commitment to safety.

This initiative comes as part of SSG’s ongoing efforts to create a safe and enjoyable environment for both players and spectators. As the season progresses, these measures are expected to become a standard practice, setting a benchmark for other baseball teams to follow.
