The Historical Museum in Bishkek was visited by the Special Representative of the President of France

The National Historical Museum was visited by the special representative of the President of France, Isabelle Dumont. The French statesman was met by the director of the National Research Institute of the Kyrgyz Republic Zhyldyz Bakashova. The distinguished guest was shown a rich exposition of the museum.

Special Representative of the French President Isabelle Dumont was accompanied by the Director of the Department for Central Asia and the Caucasus of the French Foreign Ministry, Mr. Boilegue and the French Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, Francois Delaus.

Isabelle Dumont listened with interest to the guide’s story and asked clarifying questions regarding the history and culture of Kyrgyzstan. She was especially interested in the musical instruments of the Kyrgyz and the national yurt.

At the end of the tour, the representative of France thanked the head of the museum and the NIM team and expressed her confidence that the museum is a bright landmark of Kyrgyzstan.
