After 14 days of activities, the House of Culture of the Santa Rosa parish, Freites municipality, concluded its participation in the III Anzoátegui te enamora Theater Festival.

Yajaira Pino, coordinator of this department attached to the Institute of Culture of the state of Anzoátegui (ICANZ), highlighted that the program took place between July 6 and 19 and included the participation of a group of children.

“During the first week, there were sports games, a craft exhibition and tree planting,” he explained.

Pino added that the children also participated in a play, in the creation of a mural and in different cultural dances.

“To close the program we had the support of the Santa Rosa de Ocopi Youth and Children’s Symphony Orchestra and the children danced to the rhythm of drums,” he said.

He added that those attending the closing of the festival enjoyed the interpretation of songs such as Galerón Oriental Vals Venezolano, Venezuela, among others, and also had fun with the presentation of a traditional dance known in the town as “Toro de Purruño.”
