Doha: CEO Saeed Ali Al Kuwari said that the success in organizing the FIFA World Cup was a crucial factor in continuing to provide Haya services.
He also said that projects that will help Qatar’s tourism growth will be implemented through the Haya platform.
The Haya platform came into existence as a result of Qatar’s foresight. Hayek was able to have a decisive influence on the organization of the World Cup. Haiya is also the gateway to Qatar for sporting events hosted by Qatar, such as the AFC Asian Cup Qatar and the World Aquatics Championship.
Saeed Al Kuwari said that during the Asian Cup, various modes of transportation will be used to reach the venues. He said that the introduction of tourist visas was necessary as the HAYA platform was to be used even following the World Cup and as a first step, new tourist visas were introduced for visitors.
At the same time, Saeed Al Kuwari stated that those who arrive in Qatar in Haya do not have the right to work.
