The incident of Al-Nasr Stadium requires a report from the referee

The former Emirati international referee, Yaqoub Al Hammadi, stressed the need to submit a report by the referee of the Al-Nasr and Al-Wahda match to turn off the stadium lights during the match.

Al-Nassr defeated Al-Wahda in the first round of the two teams in the league, through a goal scored by its striker, Vincent Abu Bakr. After the goal and during the celebration, the lights were turned off.

Al-Hammadi commented in an interview with Al-Arabiya: For the first time this happens, the referee will not be able to take any action, and he must write a report listing the incident and submit it to the Competitions Committee, which is responsible for making the decision.

He added: Turning off the lights during the match is annoying, and anything can happen on the field and the referee will not bear its consequences at the time because the vision is contagious, and it is a strange precedent, borne by the one who did this behavior.
