The inconsolable children and grandchildren of the Queen pay tribute to her at Balmoral (video)

Three of Queen Elizabeth II’s four children – the Princess Royal, the Duke of York and the Earl of Wessex – accompanied by their own children attended a church service this followingnoon in memory of the monarch. They then took a walk in front of Balmoral Castle to look at the flowers and receive the tributes of well-wishers who came to gather in front of the Queen’s summer residence where she died on Thursday.

The Queen’s close family have publicly mourned the monarch’s death, with Prince Andrew’s daughters Eugenie and Beatrice inconsolable. Prince Andrew took them for a long time in his arms.

Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, Anne’s husband, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence and the Queen’s grandchildren Peter Phillips, Zara Tindall, and Lady Louise Windsor were also present.
