The issue of Shoaib Akhtar and Tafazl Rizvi should be resolved through understanding: Muhammad Yusuf

Former captains continue to speak in support of fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar and after Shahid Afridi, former captain Muhammad Yousuf has also emphasized to resolve the issue of Shoaib Akhtar and legal advisor PCB Tafazul Rizvi through understanding.

Former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar criticized the legal advisor PCB Tafazul Rizvi and the legal department of PCB after the decision of cricketer Umar Akmal case came out.

Shoaib Akhtar had raised questions on Tafazul Rizvi’s competence, after which legal advisor Tafazul Rizvi filed a defamation suit against the ex-speed star, Tafazul Rizvi demanded Rs 10 crore as damages and apology from Shoaib Akhtar and the cyber crime. He also applied to the FIA.

Shoaib Akhtar replied that he has hired a lawyer, the notice is false and fabricated, I stand by my words, I will respond through a lawyer.

Commenting on this issue, former captain Muhammad Yusuf said in his message that there is no doubt that Shoaib Akhtar is the star player of Pakistan, Shoaib Akhtar and Tafazul Rizvi should resolve the matter with understanding. And things are going backwards in our cricket and affecting the young players badly.

Earlier, former captain Shahid Afridi had offered to play a role in resolving the issue between Shoaib Akhtar and Tafazul Rizvi amicably.

Shahid Afridi said in his message that Shoaib Akhtar is one of the best bowlers of Pakistan and has been a match-winning player. And I can play my role in this regard.

Before Shahid Afridi, former captain Younis Khan had said in his message that Shoaib Akhtar has stated a bitter truth, I stand with Shoaib Akhtar, PCB should honestly review Shoaib Akhtar’s remarks.
