In the 1,400-meter race in the fourth race of the Sha Tin race yesterday, jockey Yang Minglun fell off the horse while riding the No. 9 horse “Philip the Great” (pictured), and was sent to the hospital for examination.

According to the video of the Jockey Club, Yang Minglun fell off his horse when he was regarding 460 meters away from the finish line. After the horse fell to the ground, it once crushed Yang Minglun. When the ambulance personnel arrived at the scene, Yang was conscious and able to answer questions, and was then sent to the hospital for examination. The horse club said the horse was taken to an equine hospital for examination.

Last Sunday (19th) Yang Minglun also had an accident. During the third race of the day, Ce Yang accidentally bumped into a barrier while riding “Struggle Together”, causing him to fall off the horse. Fortunately, Yang Minglun was fine following the incident and boarded the ambulance by himself for examination.
