The Limousin-Palestine association calls for a boycott of the Carrefour brand in Limoges

François, Alain, Françoise and Isabelle distribute leaflets despite the cold outside the entrance to the Carrefour store. We decided to take the Palestinian flag because during some football World Cup matches, supporters took out the flag to denounce the situation in Palestine, said Isabelle, one of the spokespersons.

The members of the association denounce the brand’s partnership with two Israeli companies: Electra Consumer Products and Yenot Bitan. Two companies which are established in Israeli colonies, according to Limousin-Palestine.

“As a result, the French group Carrefour is directly complicit in the colonization of Palestine, which is inhuman and illegal under human rights. Worse, he is responsible for a war crime”, explains Isabelle, flag of Palestine at her feet and leaflets in her hand.

Before doing Christmas shopping or the usual shopping, passers-by were entitled to their leaflet.

Through this new action, Limousin-Palestine condemns and calls for the suspension of the European Union-Israel economic agreement. We sent a letter to the director of Carrefour asking him to put an end to these partnerships.
