The long-awaited medieval strategy Manor Lords was released in early access on Steam with Ukrainian localization

Players can finally play the strategy game Manor Lords, which is being developed independently by developer Greg Stichen. Previously, it became the most desired game on Steam – more than 3 million gamers added it to their wish lists.

The game currently has a peak online player count of 108,943 and continues to grow. Manor Lords combines medieval-style city building with huge RTS battles, where the player simultaneously defends his settlement and tries to conquer other regions.

“Manor Lords is a strategy in which everyone can feel like a real medieval lord. Develop your starting village and turn it into a big bustling city, manage resources and production chains and conquer new lands,” the game description says.

The developer says that Manor Lords takes Franconian painting and architecture of the late 14th century as a basis, and tries to maintain historical veracity in everything – both in game mechanics and in external design.

The game costs 600 UAH in the Ukrainian Steam region (but there is a 25% discount) and has a Ukrainian localization, which is often added to its projects by the publisher Hooded Horse, which specializes in strategies and construction simulators.

Greg Stichen plans for Manor Lords to be in early access for regarding a year, but this may change depending on the development process based on player feedback. It is noted that the price of the project may increase with the addition of new content.

Previously, the developer said that he hoped to receive only 14,000 wishlists, but collected millions.
