The Mobility Secretariat of Medellín decided that during the Easter season the measure of spike and platewhich restricts the movement of cars and motorcycles, will remain in force in the city.
The measure will mainly apply the next Monday 3, Tuesday 4 and Wednesday 5 Aprilas anticipated by that agency.
“The peak and plate measure will remain in force throughout this Holy Week in order to guarantee the circulation of the large number of vehicles that we expect to enter the territory. The same rotation that is currently in force continues,” said the secretary in charge of Mobility, Carolina Chaparro Piedrahita.
According to the projections of the Mayor’s Office, during the main week the arrival in the city of at least 60,000 national and international visitors is expected, so the recommendation for drivers leaving or arriving in the capital of Antioquia is to schedule your tours in advance.
