On the occasion of the General Assembly of the professional association of decentralized financial systems of Senegal, the Minister of Microfinance and Solidarity Economy committed the financial services to support populations for a stronger, more inclusive and more resilient “The microfinance sector must more than ever combine social utility and financial performance for a stronger, more inclusive and more resilient economy”.

Aware of the importance of microfinance in local development, the Head of State has made the sector one of his priorities. “Microfinance remains an essential instrument for the development of the social and solidarity economy. Microfinance is established as the 2nd national initiative for the 2019-2024 five-year term. This place of choice results from the desire to put access to credit at the heart of social integration, ”reminds the Minister to the various professionals of decentralized financial systems in Senegal.
