His Excellency the Minister of Culture, Youth, Sports and Relations with Parliament, Mr Mohamed Ould SoueidatYesterday, Wednesday, in his office, a delegation from the Union of News Agencies of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)Yona), headed by its acting general manager, Mr Mohammed Abed Rabbo Al-Yamiwho is currently visiting Mauritania.
The meeting dealt with ways to enhance prospects for joint cooperation in various fields of media work, and discussed the action plan to introduce Mauritania and highlight its cultural diversity and richness, within the framework of celebrating Nouakchott, the cultural capital of the Islamic world for the year 2023.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Culture, Youth, Sports and Relations with Parliament, Mrs. Amaiziza bint Mahfouz Ould Karbali, and the Director General of the Mauritanian News Agency, Mr. Mohamed Val Omair Abi.
