Al-Marsad Newspaper: Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Khatib explained that whoever owns a house or farm in Al-Ahsa or Al-Qassim can offer it on the platform for rent and development with the tourist rural inn system. Pointing out that the Tourism Development Fund provides financing.
He said during a dialogue session: “In the past, a person might not rent his house or farm or offer them on the platform, but now they are able to rent.”
He pointed out that it is possible to consult the Ministry of Tourism to organize the scheme, and to request funding from the Tourism Development Fund to launch any project such as a hotel or what is called a rural inn.
In rural tourism, he added, the person needs “coffee, restaurants, entertainment, small hotels or homes” content, which encourages people to go to rural tourism areas.
