In remaster Marvel’s Spider-Man for PlayStation 5 Insomniac Games has completely revamped the face of Peter Parker. Not everyone accepted the change. Someone liked the appearance of the hero from the original game more, so when the PC version came out, enthusiasts decided to return the appearance of actor John Bubnyak to Parker, who acted as the prototype for the face for the character in the original version.
Today the mod became available for downloads. Youtuber under the nickname iVoltex showed a modification on the video.
In addition to the face, the amateur extension replaces all animations and works in all cutscenes. It is noted that the files used to create the mod are partly from the 2018 PS4 game and partly from the PC remaster, so the face does not look 100% exactly like the old Peter, but the mod will still be improved in the future. The author also plans to do a similar face swap for Parker in Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales when it releases on PC later this year.
