The Ministry of Culture is proceeding with the suspension of the accused as an offender who allegedly sexually abused a minor in Nisyros, as he is an employee.
In a statement, the ministry states that an order was given to the competent General Director of Antiquities and Cultural Heritage to carry out an administrative investigation.
It is recalled that the father of the minor reported sexual abuse of his child by a resident of the island.

The Ministry of Culture announces that, following publications in the printed and electronic press, in which reference is made to criminally punishable and disciplinary controllable behaviors of an employee of the EFA Dodecanese, an order was given to the competent General Director of Antiquities and Cultural Heritage to conduct an administrative investigation.
In addition, by decision of the Minister of Culture, Linas Mendoni, the above employee is suspended, in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Servants Code.
