The Nikkei index fell 0.77% in early trading in Tokyo, by Reuters

TOKYO (Archyde.com) – The benchmark index fell in early trading on the Tokyo Stock Exchange on Wednesday.

The Nikkei fell 0.77 percent to 27,670.29 points, while the broader Topix index lost 0.56 percent, to 1,939.26 points.
