Nikita Dzhigurda has been distinguished by outrageous behavior throughout his entire career. Since his student years, the artist liked to attract attention to himself, and once he even ended up in a psychiatric hospital because of this.
As Dzhigurda himself admitted, in the 80s he lived in Kyiv and was actively engaged in creativity. And before arriving in the city of Leonid Brezhnev, the special services specially put him in the hospital so that he would not attract the attention of the first persons of the state and would not cause a scandal.
“They decided to take me to the durka, hide me so that nothing would happen,” — said the artist in the YouTube show Elena Hangi.
According to Dzhigurda, the hospital staff knew perfectly well that he was healthy and why he was hospitalized. Nikita spent two weeks in the clinic, where he received seven injections daily. But the guy managed to explain his behavior and actions, so in the end he was released.
