the owner rejects the offer of the Metropolitan Community of Montreal

After 12 days of reflection, the owner of the former Le Boisé de Terrebonne golf club rejected the $11 million purchase offer from the Montreal Metropolitan Community (CMM).

The holder of this land, Mr. Éric Vandal, mentioned in a press release that he was surprised by this proposal, because the promise of sale amounted to more than 29 million dollars.

He also said he was open to receiving another offer from the CMM and the City of Terrebonne as long as it represents market value.

Mr. Vandal would also have offered to dispose of half of his land in exchange for dezoning in order to carry out a residential project on the other part of the lot.

The Montreal Metropolitan Community now has 10 days to respond to this decision.
