The year 2023 may hold its record. The listed company Adevinta, the Norwegian specialist in online advertisements, owner of the French site Le Bon Coin, is in the process of being bought by a group of funds led by the American Blackstone and the British Permira. The consortium might put $15 billion on the table to take the advertiser out of the stock market and thus sign the biggest deal in a year burdened by rising rates.

This amount would represent a premium of around 34% compared to Adevinta’s closing price on September 21, the last listing before the stock price was shaken by the first leaks in the press. Last month, Bloomberg revealed that Apollo and Goldman Sachs might contribute up to $4.5 billion of the financing.
