The PhotoBrussels Festival returns for a month in the capital

The seventh edition of the PhotoBrussels Festival will bring together, from January 26 to February 26, 35 photography exhibitions in the capital. The program and the participants were presented on Thursday at the Hangar gallery.

For one month, Brussels becomes a nerve center of photography, with more than 200 artists exhibited in more than 30 locations. The objective is to promote the exchange of ideas between amateurs and professionals through meetings, conferences, workshops and guided tours. Some exhibitions, such as Mirror of Self at the Hangar, combine the work of several artists.

In this collective presentation, 23 artists question and confront themselves. The festival offers a mix of venues including major cultural institutions such as Wiels, Fondation A or the Jewish Museum of Belgium and smaller galleries such as Atelier Contraste, Inside-out or Stieglitz 19. All venue information attendees, their exhibitions and events are available on the event website.
