The price of gold stabilized today, Sunday, in Egypt by evening trading, compared to its level in the middle of trading, according to what Naguib Naguib, former Secretary General of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy.

14 karat gold prices stabilized at 2,173 pounds per gram.

The price of 18 karat gold was regarding 2794 pounds per gram.

The price of 21 carat gold reached 3,260 pounds per gram.

The price of 24 karat gold stabilized at regarding 3,726 pounds per gram.

The price of the gold pound settled at regarding 26,080 pounds, and the price may vary from one merchant to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound.

Today is a weekly holiday in global markets, including commodity and metal exchanges.

The global price of gold rose to regarding $2,049 per ounce (an ounce is equivalent to regarding 31.1 grams of 24 karat gold) at the end of Friday’s trading, an increase of $20.15, or 0.99%, compared to its level at the end of last Thursday’s trading, according to Bloomberg data.
