The price of gold jumped today, Thursday, in Egypt, by evening trading, and the gram increased by 20 pounds, compared to mid-transaction prices, with the metal rising globally, to set a new record for it, according to Naguib, former secretary general of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, to Masrawy.
And the price of a gram of gold jumped from the beginning of trading until evening trading, by 67 pounds.
Gold prices today
14 karat gold prices increased to 933 pounds per gram.
The price of 18 karat gold rose to 1,200 pounds per gram.
And the price of 21 carat gold jumped to 1400 pounds per gram.
The price of 24 karat gold rose to 1,600 pounds per gram.
The price of the gold pound
The price of the gold pound rose to 11,200 pounds, and the price may vary from one trader to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound.
The global price of gold
The price of gold rose globally by evening trading today, Thursday, to regarding $1,756 an ounce, an increase of 0.38%, according to Bloomberg agency data.
