The price of the cryptocurrency bitcoin has fallen by 1.7 percent since 5 p.m. Saturday, reaching 41,508 dollars at 10 a.m. Sunday in New York, according to data compiled by Bloomberg News Agency today.
Bitcoin prices fluctuated at an average rate of 2.4 percent, as they are traded between 41 thousand and 379 dollars and 42 thousand and 377 dollars. It is now down 40% from its high on November 10 at $68,992.
Bitcoin added 5.2 percent to its value in the past week, and is down 10 percent so far this year.
