The price of the cryptocurrency bitcoin has risen 2.7 percent to $30,138 since five o’clock on Saturday evening, according to data compiled by Bloomberg News Agency today.
Bitcoin prices fluctuated by an average of 4%, trading between $29,331 and $30,511.
It is now down 56 percent from its high on November 10 at $68,992.
Bitcoin lost 2.8% of its value in the past week and is down 35% so far this year.
