The pupil of “bulls” has won in voting of fans for the best football player of the past season.
For the second year in a row, Eduard Spertsyan became the best player in the team. This time the midfielder collected almost 49% of the votes. The best RPL midfielder in 28 rounds of the championship scored 10 goals and completed 12 assists, which is the best result of the Russian championship. Another 4 goals and 2 assists on his account in 13 matches for the national cup.
John Cordoba came in second with 19% of the vote. Last season, the Colombian scorer scored 21 goals, made 8 assists and earned 2 penalties in all competitions. Cordoba became the best sniper of the Russian Cup.
The third place went to Matvey Safonov (8.34%). It reaches the top three for the fourth time. Having taken part in 36 official meetings, the main goalkeeper of the Bulls gave the fans a lot of bright emotions in the Cup of Russia, where in the spring he helped Krasnodar win three penalty shootouts, the club’s press service reports.
As a reminder, Krasnodar finished sixth in the standings of the Russian Premier League at the end of the season, with 48 points.
