London – Apart from being Britain’s military commander and political sovereign, Queen Elizabeth is also the head of the Commonwealth of Nations, a group of 54 countries. Of these, 14 Commonwealth countries are still headed by the Queen.
Antigua, Barbados, Australia, The Bahamas, Balise, Canada, Grenada, Jamaica, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent, the Grenadines, Solomon Islands and Tuvalu are the countries that have recognized the Queen as the head of state along with Great Britain.
The Queen’s face is engraved on the currencies of these countries. The Queen’s death will lead to changes in the national anthems, passports, police uniforms and currencies of all these countries.
