In his comment on an inquiry he received from one of his program followers, journalist Walid Al-Farraj touched on the situation of Al-Ittihad Club in tonight’s episode of his program “Action with Walid.”
Al-Farraj’s response was careful and thoughtful, as he said: “Let us consider the club’s journey over the past three seasons under the management of Anmar Al-Haili, which witnessed remarkable development, the last of which was winning the league and the cup.”
Walid Al-Farraj continued: “I love the language of numbers. Anmar Al-Haili and Ahmed Kaaki achieved great achievements with Al-Ittihad, and everyone witnesses that, but this season, Al-Ittihad is suffering. I mean, how can you say that the administration, the reason, and the administration itself achieved great achievements in previous years.”
Al-Farraj added: “There is no convincing explanation. Perhaps the management method changed and led to this fall and collapse, and perhaps mistakes were made, although this is a weak possibility.”

It is worth noting that Ittihad Jeddah Club is going through its worst football period over the past five years, as the club occupies seventh place in the Saudi League standings, following being champion the previous season.
