The role was played by Tamil actress Namitha; Since then everyone has been calling ‘Judge Chetta’: Sandra Thomas

Producer Sandra Thomas said that Tamil actress Namitha was supposed to play her role in Amen. Sandra said that she had a fight with a judge and following that incident Lijo Jose Pellissery invited her to play the bold character in the film Amen.

The character in the movie Amen was done by Lijo. Tamil actress Namitha was supposed to do it. At the last minute when Namitha had changed, Lijo asked me if she might do it.

Lijo calls me ‘Judge Chetta’ at that time. Because I have fought as a judge. I didn’t know Pulli was a judge.

When the police caught him because of something wrong with the car, he asked him to leave the car on the road. I said that I will bring the people in the car home. The spot didn’t budge. It resulted in Ft. There was no women police. Then director Sajid was there. He added some powder and fringe to it and went to Lijoy. After that everyone calls me ‘Judge Chetta’. It was from that one incident that I was called to play the bold character in the film Amen.

I didn’t think there was any need to call someone else to do the story that is so bold in the movie Aadu. It was such a small role. The character was noticed because of my sheep jewellery,’ said Sandra Thomas.
