It was 27 years ago that Kerala heard a suit case for murder for the first time. The incident of murdering architect Muralidharan, a friend of Dr Omana in Ooty, shocked the nation. The murder, which was carried out using all his experience as a doctor without even a drop of blood falling on the ground, later came to be known as a suit case murder.
He was caught within hours of the planned murder. Omana’s actions were extremely cruel. In 2001, Dr. Omana was released on bail during the trial. No one has seen them since. Searches by Interpol, including in Malaysia, where they worked, have so far yielded no results. A program prepared by R. Ananthakrishnan in 2021.
