Thrissur | Peruvanam Kuttan Marar said that he accepts the decision of the Vaswam Board to remove him from the position of Mela Pramani of Thrissur Pooram. Peruvanam Kuttan Marar said that his size is the size of Thrissur Pooram and he has no complaints regarding the decision. All those who have supported so far and the ungrateful should have a chance. The Devaswom Board announced that Aniyan Marar will preside over this year’s Ilanjithara Mela. For the last 25 years, Peruvanam Kuttan Marar was the head of the Elanjithara Mela. Elanjithara Mela is a Chenda Mela held as part of Thrissur Pooram. The Elanjithara Melam is presented by Paramekkav section.
