The strike continues: new major disruptions in the TECs of Hainaut, no bus runs in Mons

The day of September 1 was marked by major disturbances at TEC Hainaut following a spontaneous strike movement. This Friday 2, things did not calm down and the Public Transport network remains very disrupted in the province and especially in Mons where no buses are running.

A third of the buses run in Engies and only a quarter run in Houdeng. The movement should last all day.

The reason for the strike concerns the disproportionate rate of absenteeism which persists, which forces the management not to validate for the moment the requests for short holidays, a situation which the workers do not accept.

If you have to take a bus this Friday in the central region and Mons Borinage, you can find all the information on the TEC website.
