The Swiss contingent in Bologna is further reinforced. International midfielder Remo Freuler (31) has indeed been loaned by Nottingham Forest to the Italian Serie A club.
Bologna has a call option on Freuler at the end of the season. The Glaronais joins two other Swiss internationals in the Italian city, Michel Aebischer and Dan Ndoye.
Freuler thus spent only one season in the Premier League following his arrival from Atalanta. He made 28 appearances for Nottingham last season. But he had lost his starting spot since the end of April.
