Controversial Syrian artist Engy Khoury published a video clip in which she pledges to repent, wear the veil and pray, in exchange for her marriage to the retired Jordanian artist Adham Nabulsi.
Engy confirmed in the video that she is ready to repent to God and to wear the hijab if the retired artist, Adham Nabulsi, agrees to marry her.
She said: “You know, if Adham Nabulsi marry me, I wear a veil, I wear a veil, I pray, I repent, and I don’t even want the phone… I just want to marry me.”
The video spread widely on social networking sites, and the followers shared it on their private pages, and interacted with it, while her followers insulted her and insulted her and mocked what she said and the impossibility of it happening because “Nabulsi” retired from art and became religiously committed.
