On October 5, the charity gala organized by the Bonnes Fées association took place, which works with women suffering from cancer. Several former Miss France were present for the occasion, including Nathalie Marquay, the widow of Jean-Pierre Pernaut. The latter died last year, some time following announcing that he had lung cancer.
As relayed by TF1 Info, the wife of the former star presenter of TF1’s 1 p.m. show shared some secrets during the gala evening. She thus revealed that her husband did not die of cancer. “Cancer is not automatically death. It’s true that this word is scary, but with science, we can cure it. Besides, Jean-Pierre, who has had two cancers, is not died of cancer,” she said.
Nathalie Marquay did not want to say more but we know that a few days before his death, Jean-Pierre Pernaut had been hospitalized because of several strokes. The ex-presenter might therefore have succumbed to problems linked to his heart.
