The Operational Headquarters of the region stated that the information regarding the breakthrough of Ukrainian troops in Shebekino is not true.

– A number of telegram channels spread false information regarding the breakthrough of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at night in the Shebekinsky direction. The operational headquarters officially declares that this information is false and does not correspond to reality, the regional operational headquarters reports in its Telegram channel.

At the same time, it is noted that the situation in Shebekino is currently difficult, shelling is underway, sounds of battle are heard.

“The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are working, but there is no breakthrough of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” they added at the Operational Headquarters.

Residents of the Belgorod region were asked to remain calm and trust only official information.

Former head of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov said that last night Shebekino was under incessant fire – the AFU fired from the “Grad” on the center and outskirts of the city. According to the latest reports, eight people were injured.

He also refuted information regarding collection points for urgent evacuation of residents of the Shebekinsky district.

“At the moment it is impossible and unsafe to massively gather people at a specific point,” he wrote.
