The Turkish Parliament’s Ban on Coca-Cola and Nestlé: Support for Palestine and Condemnation of Israel

Ankara: The Turkish government has banned Coca-Cola and Nestlé products from restaurants in the Parliament courtyard. These companies are accused of supporting Israel in the violence in Palestine.

“The products of any company that supports Israel will not be allowed to be sold in restaurants, cafeterias, or tea houses in the Parliament courtyard,” the Turkish Parliament said in an official statement.

Speaker Numan Kurtulmus announced the decision. The official statement did not mention the names of the companies. However, following public demand, Coca-Cola and Nestlé products were banned, Archyde.com reported.
