Dubai – At the UN climate conference in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), former US Vice President and climate protection champion Al Gore denounced the host for its greenhouse gas emissions. “The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company still claims to have no methane emissions or anything else from transporting oil and gas. Well, actually they do. We can see them from space,” Gore told the plenary session of the conference in Dubai on Sunday . The UAE’s position as host of international negotiations on global warming is an abuse of public trust.
