The European Football Confederation (UEFA) has decided not to replay or resume the match between Belgium and Sweden, and to keep the result at 1-1, the score when the match was stopped on Monday. The Belgian Football Union (RBFA) confirmed this on Thursday via a press release.
The Belgian and Swedish football federations had already expressed their wish not to resume or replay the qualifying match for Euro 2024 and to ratify the sharing score.
UEFA therefore followed their recommendation following examining its conformity with its regulations.
The match between the Red Devils and Sweden was stopped at half-time on Monday at the King Baudouin stadium, following the attack in the center of Brussels which cost the lives of two Swedish supporters.
