One player spent an entire month farming ultra-rare items in Diablo 4, and now he’s “retiring.”
This player turned out to be the author of a post on the Diablo 4 subreddit, who boasted that he had obtained all 7 legendary unique items – the rarest items in Blizzard’s action RPG. These include helmets, staff, swords, ring and amulet.
Over the course of a month, the player completed 800 “runs,” probably referring to Nightmare Dungeons on the hardest level, World Level 4. It turns out that the drop chance was approximately 0.00875% – a depressing statistic for treasure hunters.
I’m retiring from rare item farming following using up all my luck for a month. I’ll try to enjoy the game before next season.
