The unemployment rate up slightly in the Jura in November

The Jura recorded 39 additional unemployed in November. The unemployment rate thus slightly increased by 0.1 point last month in the canton to stand at 3.5%, according to figures released on Wednesday. At the end of November, 1,863 job seekers were registered with the regional employment office, including 1,272 unemployed and 591 non-unemployed job seekers. In annual variation, this same unemployment rate remains down by 1 point. In detail, it is 3.7% in the district of Delémont, 3.9% in that of Porrentruy and 2.2% in the Franches-Montagnes.

It should be noted that at the national level, the unemployment rate stood at 2% at the end of November, an increase of 0.1 point compared to October. /comm-emu
