The end of the relationship between Gerard Pique and Shakira is tumultuous to say the least. Since the announcement of their separation a few months ago, the Spaniard and the Colombian have not ceased to throw spades at each other (no pun intended) via the press interposed.
The latest provocation came from the singer who, in one of her songs, had reproached the father of her children for having “exchanged a Ferrari for a Twingo” and “A Rolex for a Casio”.
The former defender had fun responding in the most original way possible. He announced have entered into a partnership with the Casio brand for his King’s League (Editor’s note: seven-a-side football league belonging to Piqué) and this Sunday, he was filmed driving in… a Twingo.
No doubt, the 2010 world champion is determined not to let himself face the attacks of his ex-girlfriend. It remains to be seen if Shakira will remain silent to these new provocations.
