But no matter how romantic their storyline was, the real passengers experienced the loss of the ‘unsinkable’ ship so traumatically. Only 705 of the 2,200 passengers were able to recount the tragedy. Frederick Fleet, Margaret ‘Molly’ Brown and Eva Hart were a few of them. “I never closed my eyes. I saw it and I heard it so no one would ever forget.”
